English Language and Literature Program

Al-Quds Bard College offers the Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature, with the option to pursue it as a minor or to combine it with other minors offered by the college.

Program Objectives

• To train future educators and teaching professionals.
• To qualify graduates for diverse roles and career opportunities in both local and international institutions.
• To contribute qualified personnel to the field of translation (Arabic–English and vice versa).
• Prepare graduates to pursue advanced studies in related fields such as linguistics, English literature, and teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL).
• To prepare specialists capable of using the English language as a means of communication in professional and academic contexts.

Admission Requirements

• A Tawjihi’s score or its equivalent with a minimum average of 80%.
  
• Students with the Tawjihi average between 72% and 79.9% may be admitted after successfully passing an interview.
