On March 26, 2025, four students from Al Quds Bard College showcased their personal journeys and academic growth through a moving exhibition at Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q). Ala Abhari, Abdelrahman Meki, Majd Johar, and Shatha Al-Sabbah worked on an exhibition titled "Gaza Remains.” The exhibition highlighted the resilience, hope, and challenges these students face as they pursue their studies in Qatar during the holy month of Ramadan. This exhibition was attended by many important figures such as, Mr. Hani Shehadeh, from Al-Fakhoora Program, Education Above All, as well as Dr. Diana Buttu who is a Palestinian lawyer, who is also a lecturer at Georgetown University, Doha.

I graduated from Al-Quds Bard College (AQB) in 2023 with a major in Economics through which I immersed myself in the study of economic systems and their impact on society. My academic journey was shaped by AQB’s interdisciplinary philosophy, which deepened my understanding of economic systems and their societal impact. My senior project, "Circular Economy: The Silver Bullet to The Palestinian Solid Waste Problem," advised by Dr. Sobhi Samour, allowed me to explore sustainable solutions to one of Palestine’s pressing environmental challenges.

On Monday, February 17th, 2025, Dr. Amneh Badran, Vice Dean of Al-Quds Bard College (AQB), officially launched her new co-edited book, The Routledge Handbook on Palestine, during a special discussion panel organized by AQB. Co-edited by Dr. Badran and  Dr. Michael Dumper, the book provides a comprehensive overview of Palestinian history, society, politics, culture, and architecture, exploring diverse contexts and periods.

As part of the ongoing Al-Quds Bard College (AQB)-Education Above All (EAA) partnership, a delegation of six AQB students, led by Dr. Amneh Badran and Dr. Sobhi Samour, attended the ‘3rd Annual Palestine Forum’ organized by the Doha Institute from January 25th to 27th. The forum provided a unique platform for students to engage with Palestinian, Arab, and international researchers, exchanging ideas on topics such as the social and economic conditions under occupation, settler colonialism, Palestinian resistance, and the global perspective on Palestine.

Doha, Qatar – January 11th-16th, 2025 – A group of students recently returned from an enriching six-day trip to Doha, Qatar, where they had the opportunity to attend two significant events hosted by Al-Jazeera: the Conference on AI and the Mobile Journalism Workshop with the Al-Jazeera Media Institute. This trip is part of the ongoing collaboration between Education Above All and Al-Quds Bard College, providing students with unique learning opportunities in the media.
