Al-Quds Bard College for Arts and Sciences at Al-Quds University celebrated the graduation of 81 undergraduate and master’s students from the classes of 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. Among the graduates were scholars from the first undergraduate class of Education Above All Qatar Scholarship recipients at Al-Quds Bard College. The ceremony brought together graduates from the natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and the arts, as well as from the master’s programs in Teaching, European Studies, and American Studies. Attendees included Al-Quds University President Professor Dr. Imad Abu Kishek; Dr. Daniel Terris, Vice President for International Initiatives at Al-Quds University and Bard College; Al-Quds Bard College Dean Dr. Amneh Badran; vice presidents from Al-Quds University and Bard College; faculty and administrative staff; and the graduates’ families.

A team of Al-Quds Bard College (AQB) students won second place in the Open Track at Jerusalem Hackathon 2026 with BlinkVoice, an innovative project that uses artificial intelligence and eye-blink tracking to help people with severe motor disabilities communicate and express their needs.

Al-Quds Bard College proudly celebrates the achievement of its graduate, Nouran Darras, a graduate of the Molecular Genetics program, who was honored during the 11th Annual Celebration of PhD Student Achievements at Indiana State University School of Medicine. The event was held on Friday, September 11, 2026, to recognize doctoral candidates who had completed an important stage of their academic training and advanced to the research phase of their studies.

Al-Quds Bard College of Arts and Sciences at Al-Quds University organized an orientation day for new students, aimed at introducing them to the College, its academic programs and services, and helping them transition into university life and become familiar with the academic and social environment in which they will continue their educational journey.

On September 7, 2026, at the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center, AQB students and educators came together for “Can Education Survive Attack?”, a dialogue held in recognition of the International Day to Protect Education from Attack. The session brought together Dr. Ibrahim Marazka, Mr. Ahmad Jaffal, and Mr. Osama Risheq, who shared their perspectives on the challenges facing education during humanitarian crises and the importance of safeguarding the right to learn.
