AQB students achieved a remarkable accomplishment by winning first place in the Innovation Competition within the Palestinian Student Scholarship Fund (PSSF) through the project BlinkVoice by Dana Dawabsheh, a Computer Science student. The project enables fully paralyzed patients to communicate through eye blinking using artificial intelligence technologies, representing a significant step in harnessing technology to serve humanity and enhance quality of life.
Al-Quds University’s Deanship of Scientific Research, in partnership with Al-Quds Bard College of Arts and Sciences (AQB), successfully hosted the 8th Palestinian Undergraduate Research Conference, bringing together undergraduate students and recent graduates from Palestinian, regional, and international universities for two days of virtual and in-person sessions at the university’s main campus. This year’s conference featured 94 selected research projects from 180 submissions, representing seven Palestinian universities—including participants from Gaza, as well as students from Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. The conference continues to serve as a vital platform for fostering a culture of undergraduate research, innovation, and academic excellence in Palestine and beyond.
Al-Quds Bard College is pleased to invite you to participate in this annual significant academic event. This year it will present 94 undergraduate research papers submitted by students of Al-Quds University in addition to different local, regional and international universities.
Every year, Al-Quds Bard college’s students present their best research papers and compete for best research awards.

Al-Quds Bard Alumna Bisan Safi has recently published a scientific research paper in a Q1 Journal, Scientific Reports. As a first author of the research, Bisan’s paper is titled “Oral HPV Detection and Genotyping by Next-Generation Sequencing in a Healthy Palestinian Cohort: A Pilot Study.” Her research is the first in Palestine to investigate oral HPV prevalence and genotype distribution in a healthy population using a highly sensitive nested PCR and next-generation sequencing (NGS) approach.
