Saturday, Dec 13th, 2025| Al-Quds Bard College’s Evolving Global Economy class, a course that brings together Master’s students from European Studies and American Studies, hosted Dr. Danilo Leite Dalmon, Consultant in Education Policy for the World Bank, for a special lecture on “Inequality and Growth in South America: A Historical and Contemporary Analysis.” The lecture, which was open to both Master’s and Bachelor’s students at AQB, was moderated and facilitated by Dr. Sameh Halaq, an Associate Professor of Economics at the College.
Doha - Qatar| Al-Quds Bard College (AQB) is proud to share that two of its students, Shahd Abu Laban and Grace Awad, who are also Education Above All (EAA) Scholars have participated in the Doha Film Festival. They served as members of an international jury from 21–28 November, with the support of the EAA, representing AQB and young Palestinian creatives in one of the region’s most important cultural events.

Al-Quds Bard College (AQB) proudly celebrates the participation of Jonathan Becker, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Bard College, as one of the panel speakers, and Alaa Abhari, an Education Above All (EAA) scholar and Human Rights & International Law student, who played a central role at the 12th World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE 12) on November 24th and 25th. Alaa served as the moderator of a session organised by the Al Fakhoora and PEIC Programmes of the Education Above All (EAA) Foundation, held in collaboration with the University of Oxford and Bard College.
Al-Quds Bard College held a productive meeting with Collège des Frères–Jérusalem, New Gate, on Wednesday, November 26, to explore new opportunities for strengthening teacher development at the school.
The gathering brought together the AQB Acting Dean, Director of the MAT Program, Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), and the Director of AQB Preparatory School, along with MAT faculty members. From Collège des Frères–Jérusalem, the school principal and the Head of Academic Affairs joined the discussion. The meeting focused on identifying ways AQB can support the school through tailored professional development workshops rooted in contemporary pedagogical approaches.
