ExpiredThe ENTEC project in the Master in the Arts of Teaching Program at Al-Quds Bard College held a workshop at the Advanced Schools “Al Madares Al-Mutaqademah” for smart learning- STEM (General Manager Dr. Asad Abu Hussein) located in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia on October 15, 2022. The workshop focused on promoting higher-order thinking skills in teaching STEM subjects. Dr. Ayman Khalifah, AQB MAT director, led the workshop, and Dr. ImadMlehat, a former MAT graduate, currently teaching at this school, facilitated the three sessions of this workshop. The workshop explored the meaning(s) of HOTS in the context of the STEM approach from a constructivist point of view. In addition, the participants were engaged in critical discussions about developing these skills through active learning techniques and examples.
