Dr. Amneh Badran is the New Acting Dean of Al-Quds Bard College

Al-Quds Bard College, with its administrative and academic staff, warmly congratulate Dr. ِAmneh Badran on her appointment as the new Acting Dean of the College. She is going to succeed Dr. Daniel Terris, who played a pivotal role in advancing the academic process in the College since assuming his position in 2018.

Dr. Badran commenced her academic journey through the Political Science Program at Al-Quds University in 2008, and five years ago she joined Al-Quds Bard College (AQB), where she led the Bachelor’s program in Global Studies and Diplomacy, as well as the Master’s program in European Studies.

In February of this year, Dr. Badran launched a new book, The Routledge Handbook on Palestine, co-edited with Professor Michael Dumper. The book offers a comprehensive review of Palestine’s history, society, politics, culture, and architecture, covering multiple contexts and historical periods. The launch was marked by a special symposium organized by AQB.
