STEP is a new bachelor’s program at Al-Quds Bard College. It empowers students to understand the political and economic forces that shape the world and provides them with skills to be harnessed to solve pressing social and economic problems in Palestine and beyond. Palestine during this time- more than any time before- needs a cadre of STEP graduates to fulfill different societal, economic, and political roles.

STEP is built on an interdisciplinary approach - bringing together the academic disciplines of economics, political science, and social theory - because a complex world, where problems have many causes, requires insights from more than one perspective.
