Three AQB Human Rights And International Law Students Participated in BGIA Program in New York City

Al-Quds Bard College for Arts and Sciences, the only Liberal Arts education institution in the West Bank, values the development of critical thinking skills as essential for civic engagement locally and globally. The college provides its students with the tools and opportunities needed to engage in interdisciplinary study. One of the thriving programs that AQB students participate in is Bard Globalization and International Affairs Program. BGIA presents a great opportunity to experience international affairs in New York City through study and internships. Last semester, three AQB students benefited from this unique program and exceeded expectations with flying colors. Nadeen Yousef interned at Nonviolence International, Zeina Melhem at Magnum Foundation, and Baha Ebdeer at Pen America.

BGI A is a four month program where students can take up to 12 credit courses and work with renowned non-governmental organizations.
