at Al-Quds Bard College

Dear Students and Colleagues,

We are glad to invite current third-year and fourth-year students to participate in the First Undergraduate Research Conference in Palestine. It will take place at Al-Quds Bard College in Abu Dis on April 21st, 2018.

The conference will feature seven separate sections for participants to present their research projects in fostering an environment to engage in critical discussions with experts in each respective field. Applicants are encouraged to submit their abstracts related to one of the following sections:

  • Biomedical Sciences and Health
  • Economics
  • Political Science, Human Rights and International Law
  • Literature and Society
  • Urban Studies and Spatial Practices
  • Engineering and Computer Science
  • Creative Media and Arts

English is the working language of the conference.

The experience of participating in the research conference will serve as an advantageous opportunity for students preparing for their thesis defense, and a benefit for one’s resume, especially for those applying for graduate schools. It is also a chance to join the tradition of getting together with fellow researchers in a stimulating and entertaining environment either during coffee-breaks or socials.
