Al-Quds Bard College Graduates the Classes of 2021

Al-Quds Bard College was honored to graduate its ninth cohort of Bachelor students, and the tenth cohort of Master of Arts in Teaching scholars in a phenomenal ceremony organized on Al-Quds University's main campus, on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
Dr. Leon Botstein has commenced the ceremony with a recorded speech that addresses the BA and MAT graduates and acknowledged the outstanding partnership between Bard College and Al-Quds University, which has thrived in the past decade.
Dr. Daniel Terris, Al-Quds Bard College Dean, has delivered the dean’s word featuring that AQB has shown exceptional strength, courage, and creativity in continuing its collective quest for learning, and for the application of knowledge to solving the great problems that face Palestine and all of humanity.
Dr. Abdel Raouf Al-Sinnawi, AQU Dean of Student Affairs, and Mr. Ghassan Al-Deek, AQU Dean of Admission and Registration, joined on behalf of Al-Quds University to congratulate the graduates along with Dr. Terris.
Amani Hmeid, AQB MAT Valedictorian, has delivered AQB MAT graduate speech. Then, she was followed by ShadinNassar, who performed the BA graduates’ speech.
Entertainment sections have infiltrated the ceremony where Assail Dabke group played an exceptional show for the audience. Moreover, AQB student talents obviously had their presence, in which AQB BA first-year students: ShaimaFaroun sang and Christina Ansttas played her trumpet.
Towards the end, Dr. SamehHallaq, AQB Assistance Vice President for Finance and Administration, called on the BA and MAT graduates to walk the stage and receive their degree holders and take photos with the deans. Additionally, AQB had honored the two graduates, Ramez Hayek as the BA valedictorian, and Amani Hmeid as the MAT.
