Maram Anton Da’boub

Maram Anton Da’boub attained her Bachelor’s Degree from Bethlehem University, where she studied (SAT) - subject area teacher- in the English language. Upon her graduation in 2013, she directly started her profession as an English teacher to the 7th and 8th grades, at Terra Sancta Girls’ School/ Sisters of Saint Joseph in Bethlehem. To develop her body of knowledge and advance her career in education, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Arts of Teaching at Al-Quds University - Bard College in 2019. Her master has granted her a wide knowledge of theories and practices of multiple teaching techniques, equipped her with modern teaching styles, students’ assessment methods, and skills to enhance students’ four major English language skills. Additionally, a key advancement Maram has nurtured in her education and practical experience is focusing on students as being the center of the teaching-learning process. Furthermore, she has been a member of the ENTEC program “Enhanced Network Teacher Education Capacity” at Al-Quds Bard College, for a year now. She took part in a workshop at Dar Al-Kalima School in Bethlehem on "Enhancing Students' Higher-Order Thinking Skills," as well as a workshop in Jericho regarding the PISA test.Recently, Maram was appointed at Bethlehem University as a part-time instructor.
