A vibrant social and intellectual life is central to liberal arts education. Al-Quds Bard College for Arts and Sciences is committed to fostering a community that supports the diverse talents and ambitions of its students. Students are encouraged to create clubs and organizations that fit their particular interests and needs. These clubs offer students the opportunity to explore hobbies, become involved in local and global issues, or practice and develop special skills.

Whether clubs focus on the arts, government, writing, science, athletics, or an academic subject, the AQB promotes active student participation in intellectual and cultural life on campus. In addition to clubs and other student initiatives, the AQB sponsors a wide array of academic and cultural events on campus, including lectures, film screenings, field trips, symposia, workshops and social events.

The college home at Al-Quds University in Abu Dis offers opportunities for interaction with some of the 10,000 Al-Quds undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in more than 30 academic disciplines ranging from Arabic or English language and literature, fine arts, science, and law to engineering and medicine.
